Water Soluble Film Packaging Machine is a device that creates sachets of detergent, washing powder, chemicals and granules with the help of a water-soluble film. The machine is used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical industries. It works by weighing the product, dosing it and packing it into a sachet. The sachets are sealed using pneumatic pressure and then cut. The sachets can be formed into different shapes depending on the requirements of the customer. Modern technology and reliability together with ergonomic design make the machine convenient to use.
According to the invention, the water-soluble film is comprised of sugar alcohol plasticizers that are solid at room temperature such as isomalt, maltitol, sorbitol, xylitol, erythritol, adonitol, pentaerythritol and/or mannitol and combinations thereof. Additionally, the film can be comprised of a liquid plasticizer such as glycerin, diglycerin, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, tetraethylene glycol, propylene glycol, polyethylene glycols up to 400 MW, 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol, ethanolamines and/or combinations thereof.
The inventive water-soluble film can be heated, if necessary, by passing it through a thermoforming process. The water-soluble film may also be wetted, if desired, by directly spraying a wetting agent (such as water, a solution of the film composition, a plasticizer for the film or any combination of the foregoing) on it before feeding it onto a surface or once it is on a surface, or by indirectly wetting it by applying a wet item to it. The inventive water-soluble film can further be sealed to the second surface of a container by contacting it with a sealing solution on the first surface of the container for a time sufficient to form a seal between the first and second surfaces.
